The Process:
Schedule a Tasting:
Due to the high-quality of our ingredients, we do not offer free tastings. Couples have two options they can choose from.

You can order a “tasting pack” which consists of two each (cupcakes) of your flavors chosen (up to 3 flavors) for $10.

Wedding consultations can be arranged at the couples convenience to discuss the design and have a one on one tasting for up to three guests. Our wedding consulatations are $25, if the couple chooses to select us for their special day this cost will go towards the balance of their cake. So it is basically free!
Book your tasting or order a tasting pack early to guarentee Bakeology can make your cake. To ensure perfection in each of our cakes, we only take a certain amount of weddings per weekend. We can take wedding orders up until one month before the wedding, however, we recommend booking 6-9 months ahead.
Scedule your consulation after you have decided these several components of your wedding; the wedding date, venue, number of guests, colors, style, and flowers in order to provide our designer with a good understanding of your design.
Tasting boxes are available for wedding cakes and celebration cakes with a $200 minimum! Couples have 48 hours before your consultation to cancel your appointment without incuring a $30 service fee.
Attend Your Tasting:
We recommend you bring any pictures, color schemes, dress pictures, fabrics, flowers, that you may want incorporated into your cake.
During the Consultation:
Our designer will collaborate an overall desgin, and will be able to give you a rough sketch of the cake as well as an estimate. As long as the cake fulfills your vision, our designer will then email a full color sketch, exact pricing, and a written cake contract within 48 hours. After the proposal is recieved, you have 10 days to sign the contract and return it to BAKEology with a 50% non-refundable deposit to lock your event date. The remaining balance and any additional changes to the design is due one (1) month prior to event date. We reserve the right to return your deposit in full at anytime and cancel your order.
The Big Day:
Bakeology does all the work and will allow you to worry about one less thing on your big day. Bakeology will deliver and set up your wedding cake showpiece!
Order Changes & Cancellations:
Once the designs are finalized and/or you pay your deposit, we will do our best to accomodate requests to increase the number of cupcakes or cake size (upon availability). We cannot decrease your order size as we prepare your custom order in advance – mixing specific colors for fondant, hand modeling designs, matching ribbons & supplies. You will still be responsible for paying for any work we have put into preparing your order. Your deposit and payment is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your order. Due to the nature of our business, we start preparing your fondant decorations and purchasing material for your custom order weeks in advance. Since the colors and designs are custom made to match your event, we cannot use them for future orders.
Wedding Cake Pricing:
Pricing is based on several factors, including fondant or buttercream, size of the slices, complexity of design, and whether you will be serving or saving the top tier. Pricing is discussed in more detail at the tasting and consultation.
Our normal tiers are approximately 4 inches tall, (unless its a mini centerpiece cake or double-barrel cake) consisting of 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of filling then frosted in our signature buttercream. A fondant cake is then covered in ganache and enrobed in our homemade signature fondant. Cakes can be cut based off of two different guides. A party size cut which is 2"x2"x4" cut or wedding size which is 1"x2"x4" cut.
Our cakes are priced during the consultation stage but range between $3-$8 per serving. Fondant, artwork, or other design element may be an additional charge.
Custom Buttercream Cakes start at $3.00/serving
Custom Fondant Cakes start at $5.00/serving.
Showpiece Fondant Cakes (hand carved) start at $8.00/serving.
Handcrafted Sugar Flowers range from $3-$25 each.
